Milik J.T.The Books of Enoch: Aramaic Fragments of Qumrân Cave 4 By J.T. Milik, with Matthew Black Publisher: Oxford University Press Number Of Pages: 456 Publication Date: 1976-08 ISBN-10 / ASIN: 0198261616 ISBN-13 / EAN: 9780198261612 From the author's introduction: The main purpose of this edition is to present, in transcription (with restorations), and with translation and notes, all the fragments identified among the manuscripts of Qumran Cave 4 as forming part of different Books of Enoch. In the Introduction the importance of this discovery is first briefly indicated; then an attempt is made to resolve the familiar problems of literary criticism concerning the Enochic literature in the light of the fresh data furnished by the specimens of the original text; the character of the Greek version and of other ancient translations dependent on it is evaluated; and finally a description is given, in rapid outline, of works attributed to Enoch from Roman times down to the late Middle Ages, with emphasis on the profound gap which separates these later writings from the Judaeo-Aramaic documents; a delicate problem is that of the origin and dating of the Book of Parables, which forms the second section of the Ethiopic Enoch. http://www.sendspace.com/file/676iy6 Tags: aramaic, download, Эфиопия

The Ethiopic Book of Enoch: A New Edition in the Light of the Aramaic Dead Sea Fragments (Vol. 1: Text and Apparatus & Vol. 2: Introduction, Translation and Commentary) By Edward Ullendorff & Michael A. KnibbPublisher: Oxford University Press, USA Number Of Pages: 688 Publication Date: 1979-03-15 ISBN-10 / ASIN: 0198261632 ISBN-13 / EAN: 9780198261636

Although interest in the Ethiopic Book of Enoch is today more intense than ever, scholars have still to rely on the text (1906) and translations (1912) of R. H. Charles. At the time Charles's work mad and important contribution to the study of the text, but some features of it now appear unsatisfactory, and it has been outdated by subsequent manuscript discoveries, particularly that of the important Dead Sea fragments in Aramaic, the language in which the boook (or most of it) was originally composed. The present edition aims to make available the whole of the evidence for the text in as clear a way as possible. Vol. 1 contains a text (Rylands Ethiopic MS 23) with a critical apparatus giving the Ethiopic and Greek variants; Vol. 2 contains an introduction, an English translation, and notes on the text, in which all the siginificant Aramaic evidence is presented and discussed. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?2dyijzzzxgf Tags: aramaic, download, Эфиопия
